I was born and raised in the Town of Tonawanda, a suburb of Buffalo, NY. I currently live in the house I grew up in with my wife, Cathy and my daughter. I also have another daughter who is married with a family of her own. As a child, I enjoyed drawing as any child does. It wasn't until my teenage years that my interest in art began to grow. I would draw pictures and paint posters for my friends and family. I expiremented with many different types ofmedia including paints, pastels, and even airbrushing, but I always enjoyed working in pencil the most. In high school I discovered perspective drawing and took naturally to it. It was the technical, yet artistic elements that intrigued me. In college, I took several mechanical drawing courses and hoped for a career in architecture, but it never came to be. Although my career in architecture didn't happen, I never lost my love for it. I finally graduated with degress in Fine Arts and Graphic Design. I am presently employed as a structural packaging designer which is a good avenue for my desire to be creative. I also started a business "Architectural Portraits in Pencil" so I could sell my work in various local art festivals and have won several awards.
